Celebrate Americas 250th with Ray Simon

Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary through the America the Beautiful Global Art Competition 2026, a global art showcase honoring the beauty, diversity, and spirit of America.

The event will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at The Trump Kennedy Center – JFK Gallery in Washington, DC, featuring nationally renowned artist Ray Simon.

Personalized Prints

The idea for honoring veterans with these paintings started over 25 years ago when Ray was working to create a piece for the WWII commission. Ray drew inspiration from his father who was a Veteran of WWII and a member of the 101st airborne.

The painting was completed, the story of the heroes of WWII were laid out on the canvas. The one thing missing was the inspiration of it all, an image of his father. Ray had a print and using a penknife carved out an oval and slipped his fathers military photo behind it. The painting finally complete.
